Microsites, a website that falls under another company’s umbrella. For example, ABC has a corporate website, but when you click on the TV show Lost, it has it’s own look and character, without completely losing it’s ABC brand. People identify with the show they like, not the corporate identity. It can be important to keep a local brand in our community, such as a real estate or insurance agent who works for a franchise, or a hotel that is owned by a mainland company, so people feel comfortable with who they are dealing with.
